Colton is really enjoying his old things

He just brought the car seat into the kitchen and is presently lounging about in it. What a silly boy.

We need to work on her schedule a bit. Somebody thinks you sleep during the day and play all night! Dada and I are exhausted already.

She was a little impatient with her arrival into the world. I was scheduled to have her Wednesday, November 15th, but my water broke on Sunday morning at 1:00 AM. After a call to the hospital to make sure that it was really happening, we woke Colton up and headed to the hospital.

I was prepped and given IV fluids and then my dreaded epidural. It was no picnic, but not as bad as I remember it with Colton...

Macie Jane McDuffie entered into the world on Monday, November 13th at 5:32 AM kicking and screaming. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long. She is healthy and looks so much like her big brother. We are all so happy that she is here!

If a tree falls on your porch...

...does it make a sound? I guess not, because we didn't hear it! At least we have some firewood to use... :(

Colton is not feeling very well

It's a good thing that Dada was home for some comfort. Colton had an ear infection and some allergies, but he's feeling much better. He will go back to school on Monday.

He sure had a lot of fun dressing up as a horse. He went to a few neighbors' houses and then crashed and burned.
